        Family traditions give us roots and a sense of history,   
    linking the past, present, and future. When parents and         
    grandparents take time to celebrate meaningful and fun         
    family traditions, children gain a new sense of  appreciation
    for their family.  

          Taking a break from the routine responsibilities of life
    in order to mark special events is well worth the effort and
    will build a sense of family security, uniqueness, and
    purpose for children and teens.
